Robert is the Technical Lead for the ‘Design for Performance’ initiative which aims to transform the energy efficiency of new office developments. He is paving the way for non-domestic building energy performance to be rated on annual operational energy use.

Robert sits on working groups for the Better Buildings Partnership, the Climate Bonds Initiative, the Green Construction Board, the LETI, CIBSE and UKGBC.
