Act now! IET Government funding
The Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) competition launches on the 20th of July 2020.
The programme will initially provide up to £30 million matched funding (Phase 1) and over £300m in total for feasibility studies, engineering studies and demonstration projects in England, Wales and NI.
Industries with significant heating and/ or cooling processes are likely to be good candidates for funding.
There is a range of funding options and the first application window is now open
1. Development of matureenergy efficiency technologies that improve industrial process energy efficiency and reduce demand (minimum grant funding £250k per project, up to 24 months duration)
2. Feasibility studies for projects deploying mature energy efficiency technologies or deep decarbonisation (minimum eligible project cost £60k, up to 12 months duration)
3. Engineering studies for projects deploying mature energy efficiency technologies or deep decarbonisation (minimum eligible project cost £100k, up to 24 months duration)
