James has over 17 years’ experience in supporting businesses to develop, implement and communicate their sustainability and net zero strategies. His experience includes strategy development, reporting and communications, materiality, carbon footprint, target setting, purpose and stakeholder engagement.
Having worked across industries including real estate, financial services, retail, FMCG and telecoms, James understands how to make the business case for sustainability to a broad range of functions and stakeholders. He has worked leading global businesses to drive impact including IKEA, Unilever, Tommy Hilfiiger, Molson Coors, AXA XL, Hiscox, John Lewis Partnership and Virgin Media O2, helping to engage leadership, customers, consumers and colleagues.
