Leon supports our corporate clients through data analysis and process improvements using his process engineering and energy engineering knowledge.
Leon helps clients both on-site and off-site by monitoring utility usage. He suggests improvements/investigations into processes and provides metering solutions which are integrated into the carbon desktop application.
For his dissertation, Leon worked on the design and simulation of model predictive controllers (MPCs). This project was focused on the design and optimisation of MPCs which controlled a complex heating and blending system. The goal was to minimise cost and error while improving sustainability. He has also designed a novel flash-pyrolysis reactor for the recycling of LDPE into its monomer constituents.
