Zahir has over 10 years’ experience of working with public and private sector clients to reduce their carbon emissions. He is currently supporting leading businesses to define suitable pathways towards net zero carbon operations, providing technical and strategic advice. Zahir is also Verco’s technical lead on value chain and life-cycle GHG analysis.

Zahir has led pilot projects supporting the development of PAS 2050, and pilot projects assessing the feasibility of a self-sustained carbon labelling scheme in Asia. He has also contributed to the development of life cycle analysis methodologies for new biofuels pathways that were integrated in CARB’s GREET model.

Zahir worked very closely with SABMiller over 8 years to set and successfully deliver their ambitious GHG targets.
