First ICP Europe Technical Forum for Industry

The ICP Europe Technical Team launched its expansion into three new sectors – industry, district energy and street lighting - with the first Technical Forum for Industry, on 14 September 2017. Verco is UK advocate for the Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe, and is leading the technical development of the ICP tools across Europe.

The Technical Forum for Industry focussed on the proposals for developing protocols for industrial energy efficiency projects. The session followed a review already conducted by our Focus Group for Industry, a group of experts within the sector whose feedback had already been incorporated into the proposals.

An overview of the ICP processes and documentation developed for buildings was also provided. The event was well attended, with nearly 40 attendees from across Europe and beyond, representing a cross-section of the market. The event ended with an active Q&A session, demonstrating a high level of interest in this topic.
